PEER PRESSURE - WHAT IS IT?
Peer pressure is an ongoing occurrence within age groups varying from preschoolers to adults in the workplace. However it is most common amongst adolescent teens. The act of peer pressure consists of an influence someone may have over another, causing them to make decisions that they are not ready for, trying to get them to do something they don’t want to do – or vice versa – and/or changing their state of mind (e.g. morals).
